December Sunset

On this cold December afternoon there were a few snow flurries and in the evening there was this gorgeous sunset. Within minutes, the sun went down. It was a beautiful evening!

It is the life of the crystal, the architect of the flake, the fire of the frost, the soul of the sunbeam. This crisp winter air is full of it.

In the Kitchen # Cabbage Pakoda/Fritters

Outside weather is getting cold and gloomy. Tomorrow we are expecting an inch of snow. It’s winter time. Also, it’s the time we crave for something warm and spicy. This time it is Cabbage Pakoda.

“Mom are you going to make it again…. today evening… or this weekend… Are you sure, did you write it down the exact way… you did like last time… It tasted sooo good.

Yes. I will be making it, again and again, it’s a keeper.

Travel Pages # Enola Gay display at the Udvar-Hazy Center, Virginia

Today Dec.7th is National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. On this day in 1941, Japan attacked, bombed Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, which lead the US to enter the World War II. Later, on August 6, 1945, during the final stages of World War II, Enola Gay became the first aircraft to drop an atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan.


Now, this aircraft Enola Gay stays at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center along with other aircrafts. Continue reading
